Laser Cutting and Processing
We offer a bellows specifically for laser applications. The bellows are made
with heat resistant, flame retardant materials. They are able to withstand higher
operating temperatures while providing years of service.
We have developed a patented option consisting of aluminum reflectors placed on
the interior walls of the bellows. For the unfortunate times that laser flashback
and reflection occurs, these reflectors help to prevent severe damage even
injury due to the laser penetrating the bellows.
For the ultimate protection, our bellows can be equipped with an internal sensor
connected to the emergency shutdown circuitry of the machine. If an accident
should happen and the bellows is pierced by the beam, the machine will be instantly
disabled before major damage or injury can occur.
