Flat Bellows
Our flat bellows can be manufactured for a wide variety of applications. We have a large selection
of materials available to protect from heavy chip loads to high temperature environments.
Special consideration must be given to the design and application of flat type bellows. They generally need to be supported by some type of guide or track due to their tendency to remain partially extended in their natural state. Because of this, the bellows can "pop up" as the bellows is being moved to its compressed position. If the situation does not permit the use of guides, we have techniques available to allow the bellows to naturally compress in their relaxed position.
For the most demanding conditions, we offer slat protectors for an extra bit of protection. The slats are made from aluminum or stainless steel, all in completely customizable sizes. These slats are attached to the upper pleats of the bellows allowing them to be raised for cleaning.
